We have a secret Remainer Prime Minister trying to sneak through a soft Brexit, and now she won't even meet bereaved families?! May visited Grenfell Tower today, site of the worst fire of its kind in modern British history. But she wouldn't meet with former residents who've lost everything, or even talk to journalists. This woman is a disgrace.
Thankfully this disaster has brought out the best in London, as churches, mosques and gurdwaras, as well as members of the public, have done all they can to help at the scene. I spoke to Reverend Mike Long from the Notting Hill Methodist Church, very close to Grenfell, to find out how he's helping the community rebuild after the catastrophe.
Cuts to our essential services mean our brave firemen and women are more stretched than ever! Photos have emerged of hero fire officers risking everything to put out the fire and rescue any survivors. I spoke to Matt Wrack, general secretary of the Fire Brigades Union, to find out why he thinks his members' jobs are getting harder and harder as austerity bites.
